1. Discover Ancient Mayan Ruins

Perhaps you may have thought that your Tulum, Mexico journey should start in order to visit stunning beaches or explore natural views. But it is always a better idea to start by visiting ancient Mayan ruins. Perched on a cliff overlooking the Caribbean Sea. Place often known for Mayan history and cultures of ancient Mayan peoples, those who lived around 1200 AD. 3. Jump into Cenotes

Tulum is full of Cenotes, which existed during the times of Mayan peoples. They believed Cenotes are very sacred and holy, used for many ritual purposes. Cenotes are simply called swimming holes, where you can swim during summer days. Around 14 sinkholes are available here to jump and sink in this water. These natural limestone sinkholes filled with the cool waters make them ideal destinations for swimming’s, scuba diving and snorkelling.

Here travellers can swim or snorkelling or diving amidst some of the peculiar geological formations under the Gran Cenotes. Like birds flutter, while bats, stalagmites and stalactites are available to explore beneath the water. Dos Ojos, Jardin Del Eden, Casa Cenote, Yal- Ku and Chaak Tun are famous.

6. Enjoy the Beauty of Sian Ka’an Biosphere Reserve

This UNESCO World Heritage site contains plenty of natural beauty, home to thousands of species of Flora and Fauna. Designed in 1986 as a Biosphere reserve especially to protect the largest area of the Mexican Caribbean. Place witnessing diverse ecosystems including wetlands, mangroves and wide varieties of Coral reefs. Like Tulum ruins, Sian Ka’an biosphere reserve is also a place where you can spot dolphins, manatees and toxic birds.

Sian Ka’an Biosphere reserve spans 1.3 million acres of land, fully untouched by natural beauty.
