1. Hawa Mahal

While we search for the top places to visit in Jaipur, obviously our direction will go to the most iconic and stunning landmark, that is “Hawa Mahal”. Hawa Mahal is exclusively dedicated to Lord Krishna and made completely of red and pink sandstones. It includes a 5 story palace which is featured by its distinctive honeycomb-like structure. Moreover if you closely observe the whole palace it looks like a Crown, and is made with the same thinking. Building is look like the Crown of Lord Krishna.

Mahal contains a total of 953 small windows built by the Maharaja Pratap Singh in 1799, primarily designed for royal women’s to observe street festivals. However, Palace also called “Palace of Breeze” and “Palace of Winds”.

2. City Palace

Built by the King Swai Jai Singh 2, (king who was also a founder of Jaipur city) in the central point of the Jaipur city. City Palace is the mixture of both Rajput and Mughal architecture style, especially its complex ground. City palace includes many beautiful museums, courtyards, gardens and smaller palaces like Mubarak Mahal and Chandra Mahal in its surroundings. Interesting things about this palace is, where the last ruling royal Rajput family lived till recent period, under its some of the private sections of the palace.

3. Amber Fort

Nestled in the top of the hill, Amber Fort is a must visit place just by its intrinsic artistic style of elements. In spite of that, Amber Fort contains many beautiful entrances, palaces and stunning architecture like Maota lakes, Sheesh Mahal and Diwan e Khas. Built by King Raja Man Singh in 1592, with the help of red sandstone and white marbles. Never forget to take an elephant ride to the various parts of the fort during your visit.

4. Nahargarh Fort

Situated at the edge of the Aravali hills, it played a significant role during the ancient times especially during war times. Built in 1734 by King Sawai Jai Singh inorder to keep the city safe from invasion from northern armies like Delhi Sultanate and Mughals. Even today Nahargarh Fort offers beautiful scenic views of the Jaipur city as well as the Aravali mountain range. Despite that, Fort is also renowned for its breath-taking scenic views of the stunning architectures, serene ambiance and sunset views.

5. Jal Mahal

Jal Mahal is a palace which is located amidst the Man Sagar Lake. One of the finest examples of the architectural marvellous by the Rajput Kings, which showcases a unique architectural style beholds from Man Sagar Dam. Built during the time of the 18th century, where visitors are not allowed and they can just enjoy its surrounding artistic beauties. 6. Jantar Mantar

Not the same as Jantar Mantar in Delhi, even Jaipur's Jantar Mantar also has more significant values earned by the travellers around the world. Often known as an “instrument used for calculation” during ancient times, considered as the largest stone sandal in the world. 7. Albert Hall Museum

Albert Hall Museum which comes under one of the top places to visit in Jaipur. Situated in the heart of the Ram Niwas garden, when its foundation started Albert Edward was the governor of Jaipur in 1876. Considered as the oldest museum in Rajasthan, contains some of the precious paintings, jewellery, ivory, stones, metals, and crystal works and antiquities collections.
